WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 13

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 12

8pm Sqaud for UCL v APOEL: Navas, Casilla, Luca, Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Theo, Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Isco, Kovacic, Ceballos, Ronaldo, Bale, Lucas, Mayoral. 

11am Real Madrid have now completed their final Champions League training session before they play their opening fixture in the competition (8:45pm CEST), which will take place this Wednesday evening at the Santiago Bernabéu. Ball work took centre stage in a session which saw Zidane lead out all of his available players. Benzema continued with his recovery process.

The Whites started the session with a varied warm up with the ball playing a key role. They then moved on to focus on physical strength drills. After this they turned their attention to passing and pressing, crossing and shooting. The session came to a close following matches played on reduced size pitches.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 11

12am Real Madrid held the first session of the week and continued preparing for the opening Champions League match against APOEL, which will be played on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (8:45 CEST). Benzema continued with his recovery process and Asensio trained inside the facilities during a session in which ball work was the focus.

The champions of Europe began with a physical strengthening exercise followed by several sets of pressing and possession, matches on a reduced sized pitch and ended training with crossing and finishing.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 10

11am Real Madrid completed their first training session before their Champions League opener against APOEL (8:45pm CEST). Zidane called on all of the available first team players at Real Madrid City, as well as the U19s goalkeeper Moha. Benzema started his recovery process using the indoor facilities.

Training started with running drills and rondo style drills before the players focussed on accuracy, passing and shooting. The session ended with a match played on a reduced size pitch.
