FC Schalke 04 celebrated victory in the sold-out VELTINS thanks to a penalty by Franco Di Santo (17) and a goal by Guido Burgstaller (78 ').
It was the Miners' seventh competitive match without defeat and moved us to second place in the Bundesliga.

The most dangerous scene of the guests, belonged to teenager Jann-Fiete Arp. From seven meters the youngster shot the ball in the middle of the first half to the left of the box.
HSV had the better start to the second half but Bastian Oczipka's thigh was still in the way of a placed shot by Dennis Diekmeier, so that the ball was deflected to the corner (48.). 57 minutes into the game, Aaron Hunt struck the outer post from ten meters after a pass from Jann-Fiete Arp.
From the middle of the second half, the Miners were better. On 78 minutes the second goal arrived.
Guido Burgstallerin applied the finishing touch after both Daniel Caligiuri and Yevhen Konoplyanka were involved in the build up.
