The Stoke City squad were all present for the team photo this morning, and all but recently injured skipper, Ryan Shawcross, proceeded to take part in training shortly after. Jesé was absent from the photo, but trained with the rest of the squad as usual.
Stephen Ireland continues his recovery from a broken leg, and is hoping to be ready for selection over the next few months.

Stoke City are enjoying their day off today, with the whole squad set to return to Clayton Wood tomorrow in preparation for Saturday's game.
There are no fresh injuries to report after yesterday's session.

The Stoke City squad returned to training today ahead o Saturday's visit to Newcastle United. Ryan Shawcross currently remains sidelined with a back problem, but the rest of the squad are raring to go.

Mark Hughes told the press conference this morning that Ryan Shawcross will be given until the last minute to be fit for tomorrow's game at Newcastle. Hughes also confirmed that Geoff Cameron is likely to miss the clash against the Gerodies with a hamstring injury which forced him off last weekend, in the draw with Manchester United.
The squad depart for Newcastle this afternoon, as the Potters look to extend their unbeaten run to five games in all competitions.

Mark Hughes makes one change from the side that managed a draw with Manchester United last weekend as Geoff Cameron misses out with a hamstring injury. Bruno Martins Indi comes in for the USA international.
